Product photos are usually shot once, on a plain background. Stagelight starts from one of those and builds new ones around it.
Catalogue cuts the product out onto a clean background. Scene leaves your photo alone and builds a new setting behind it. Neither touches the product. New shot redraws it from another angle, and tells you to check it before you publish.
