Flag one (VIP, wholesale buyer, birthday, lapsed shopper, expiring member) and the moment they're added to a sale, a color-coded pop-up tells whoever is at the register exactly what to say. No profile lookup. No sticky notes on the counter. Rules run on tags, purchase history, name, email or customer metafields, including yearly dates. Rules can also watch the cart: set an amount and staff get a pop-up when a sale reaches it, for promos and free gifts.
