- Several people count at once, and you see who scanned each product and when
- Blind counts hide the expected quantity, so staff count what is really there

Shopify says 12. The shelf holds 7. This stock take finds the missing 5 in three steps. Count: the whole shop, a vendor, tag, collection or product type, or scan as you go, over several days. Review: sort by the biggest shortage. Nothing changes in Shopify until you apply. Apply: only the difference you found, so sales made meanwhile stay correct. Cycle count? Leave the rest alone. Full physical inventory? Zero what nobody counted. Tag what was counted, and the next count finds what was missed.
