DCB stops customers from applying discount codes to sale items (with a compare-at price), all products, selected products, or products by tag. Shopify Plus stores also get discount value–based blocking. Schedule blocking for sales to protect your margins.
NOTE: If restricted products are in the cart, codes won't apply to the whole order (you can show a custom error message).
100% blocking isn't guaranteed for every discount type combination or custom checkout setup.
