Cart Reserve fixes this. The moment a shopper opens their cart, it quietly holds their items for a set number of minutes. If they complete checkout in time, the sale goes through as normal. If they don't, the hold releases automatically and the stock becomes available to others — no manual work, no oversold orders to apologize for.
