Barcode Genie is for merchants who sell products by weight, like butchers, delis, and produce counters. Their scales print labels with the price and weight encoded in the barcode, but Shopify POS can't read that, so staff enter prices by hand. Barcode Genie scans the label and rings up the correct product at the exact price printed on it using a cart transform. It supports common scale formats and GS1 DataBar, prints weight on receipts, and flags any price mismatch at checkout.
